Meet Your Trainers Alek Toumi Alek Toumi is an Associate Professor of French at the UW-Stevens Point. He received his Ph.D. in 1993 from the UW-Madison.He specializes in French civilization and film, Francophone studies, and theater and is a published scholar and playwright. He has been teaching French language and culture for 16 years and came to UWSP in 2000. Before that, he taught at Lawrence University, Middlebury College, Bates College and Franklin and Marshall College.
