With
35 years of teaching experience, Moe finds it stimulating to create
new courses for instruction. Two recently created courses include,
“Ethics” and “Interpersonal Sales Strategies.”
He remains active in the summer Upward Bound Program wherein he teaches
four classes focusing on “Interpersonal Development and Career
Choices.” Adding to his variety in teaching venues Moe offers
an on-line class through UWSP Extension studying “Interpersonal
Communication on the Internet.” Finally, he presents a self
discovery experience found in a summer UWSP Extension offering entitled
“True Colors” in the course “Communication and Social
Interaction,” wherein students investigate the impact of personality
differences on Communication interaction.
Moe remains active outside the classroom by offering several workshops
each year to a variety of audiences. Some of his participants over
the last ten years have included middle and high school students,
teachers, guidance counselors, and administrators from Milwaukee,
Madison, Green Bay, Wausau, Eau Claire, and Ashland. He has also
presented workshops to such businesses as Greenheck Fan - Wausau,
Sentry Insurance - Stevens Point, Marshfield Utilities, Portage
County Library – Stevens Point, Consolidated Papers –
Wisconsin Rapids, CAP Services – Stevens Point, the UWSP Extension
“Learning Center” and the UWSP Extension “Management
Certificate Program.” Moe finds a great deal of satisfaction
and pleasure in blending classroom teaching with outside workshops
and vice versa.
