Martin Loy, UWSP Chair, School of Health Promotion and Human Development, holds a MS degree from UW-Oshkosh and a BS and Ph.D. from UW-Madison. During his tenure at UWSP, Loy served as head wrestling coach for 11 years moving into a faculty position in 1998. Recently he won the UWSP Excellence in Teaching Award and has written journal articles and presented papers in the areas of faculty development and child/adolescent grief and loss. Loy and his wife, Becky, founded Camp HOPE which offers programs for grieving children and their families. Loy has done extensive research in and teaches courses on managing stress.
