Patty has been Portage County’s Grant Writer since April 2003 at which time the new position was created.  Since then, she has won over $30 million in grant awards with government, community, and business partners.  Patty is also President/CEO of EarthWonders LLC, a company that provides nature-based educational programs and services to help people reap the healthful benefits of nature.  She has a Bachelor’s degree is in Biology/Botany and a Master’s degree in Natural Resource Management (Human Dimensions) including graduate level coursework in grantsmanship from UW-Stevens Point.  Patty has a diversity of work experience in non-profit, education, and business sectors as well as experience at state, federal, and international levels of government.
