Jutta Brendel (M.A.), a native from Dortmund/Germany has had vast and varied experience teaching languages. As a student in Germany, she taught Italian at Technical Colleges as well as German and English to Italian migrant workers. This experience and continuous trips to Italy helped her understand this country and its people very well. After finishing her studies in Germany, she lived and taught in Rome/Italy for a year before coming to the United States. She has been teaching ESL to international students at UWSP for the past eight years and taught some German classes for UWSP as well as for Mid State Technical College. She was very happy to be able -finally- to teach Italian language and culture again for UWSP-Extension this summer.
