MSSC Safety
This seminar offers training and assessment to incumbent production workers seeking to obtain the MSSC Safety in the Workplace Credential for Advanced Manufacturing. The seminar includes 12 hours of instructor-led training, three hours to complete the online assessment, MSSC Textbook, Safety Assessment online fee, one-time registration fee, and refreshments. These competencies are based on skill standards that are nationally recognized by Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) that includes:
- Identify unsafe conditions/take corrective action
- Perform environmental safety inspections
- Perform emergency safety drills and work in emergency teams
- Safe use of equipment and recognition of safety work practices
- Communicate safety, training and job specific needs
- Safety and effectiveness in work environment
- Safety orientation for other employees
- And much more
